Chandigarh is where the plains end and every road to the hills begins: Shimla three hours up the Kalka road, Dharamshala six across the Kangra valley, Manali eight along the Beas. The airport is on the bypass, the railway station across the road from it, and our office in Sector 17 is ten minutes from either — most trips start with a name on a board at arrivals.

From Delhi by road it is five hours on the expressway; we pick up in Delhi too, quoted as an outstation run.
When to come
Mid-June to early October is the prime riding season when high-altitude passes like Rohtang, Kunzum, and Ladakh routes are fully open. September is the absolute sweet spot with clear skies and minimal water crossings. November to May is off-season as high-altitude passes remain blocked by heavy winter snow.

Every driver is KYC- and police-verified, every car runs on an All India Tourist Permit, and between us we have driven the Chandigarh–Manali road in every season since 2011 — we know which dhaba is open at 5 am and which bend ices first in January.
